Making Executable Scripts

Create an executable script called "cmi"

When done, typing cmi will always run this:  ./configure && make && sudo make install

cd ~/bin
cat > cmi
#!/bin/bash
./configure && make && sudo make install
ctrl + d
chmod +x cmi

Create an executable script called "cmim"

When done, typing cmim will always run this:  make -f Makefile.dist && ./configure && make && sudo make install

cd ~/bin
cat > cmim
#!/bin/bash
make -f Makefile.dist && ./configure && make && sudo make install
ctrl + d
chmod +x cmim

Create an executable script called "cmip"

When done, typing cmip will always run this:  perl Makefile.PL && ./configure && make && sudo make install

cd ~/bin
cat > cmip
#!/bin/bash
perl Makefile.PL && ./configure && make && sudo make install
ctrl + d
chmod +x cmip
